Summer Safety Driving Tips
During the hot summer season, many are heading to the shore for some relaxation time. However, hitting crowded traffic and frustrated drivers is unavoidable. Even if you are just going for a drive to visit family for a BBQ, keep in mind, there is still danger involved with driving. - Make sure to eat a sensible meal before leaving, as this will increase your attention and mood during the drive.
- Do an overview of your car before you pull out of the driveway: Check the air in the tires, the oil of the car, even adjust your seat to make sure you are prepared and are ready for a relaxing, comfortable drive.
- Put on makeup, fix hair, and dress appropriately before leaving the house- so you don’t have to do it while driving!
- Put your full attention into driving! Scan the road, observe any possible hazards or obstructions, and keep yourself focused on getting to your destination safely!
